For this assignment, we need to create a poster based on an industrial talk that we attended. The industrial discussion was hosted by UTM with the help of Clarity Techworks. This industry talk discusses about IT jobs that are currently available to people pursuing computer science degrees. Because of the speed at which technology is developing, the speaker mostly focused on the value of adaptation in the IT industry. They discussed a few IT jobs, including data analysis, software development, and user interface design. I learned a lot about the difficulties of pursuing an IT job from this presentation.It requires me to keep up with changes in the field and improve my skills in problem-solving. In general, the industrial talk changes me in many ways. They provide me as a viewer with information about opportunities in the computer science sector and expose me to the world of IT careers.

Design Thinking Report

So basically, this task is about innovating any product that existing today. As a team, we have decided to innovate the current language translator into something better. Design thinking has improved me alot as a student because it teaches us problem solving skills that not many can teach. It also has improved my communication skills with the team members. I am sure that these skills will be essential in the future.
This project is really good for those who studies in computer science field because it can actually improve your problem solving skills which is essential to computer science student. I will also improve my knowledge about IoT as it is the new trend right now. There are still many things that I will need to improve to become a successful cybersecurity

This lab requires us to disassemble the pc and reassemble it. I actually enjoyed this lab session because I get to experience what it's like to become a technician. I was surprised by the complexness of the computer model. In this session, we did as a team which made it easy and enjoyable as you get to discuss with your members.
We tested and troubleshooted issues such as cable and component connections. There's this component that is sensitive to human touch which is surprising
The procedure of disassemble and reassemble the pc requires concentrations as you need to be precise. You need to handle the components carefully and make sure nothing is defects.
This session taught me how to disassemble and reassemble the pc. It also taught me about the importance of handling electroning components carefully. I learned communication skills which is important when you have a job in the future.
Lastly, this lab session was a good experience for me especially as a computer science student. It might true what they say, sometimes experience is the best teacher and you cannot always depend on your theoretical knowledge.

One of the latest industry visit to UTM Digital gave us an amazing understanding of the fundamentals of modern technology systems. I can observe how data is managed and secured these days from the outside. As soon as we entered UTM Digital, I was interested in a world where data is not only preserved but also carefully maintained, secured, and optimized for a range of functions
The industrial visit at UTM Digital was educational and provided me with important knowledges into the history of the current university. It demonstrates the power of technology as well as its importance for data security, privacy, and performance. I'm sure that the information I learned from this visit will allow me expand my understanding of modern technological advances

The industry talk with a representative from TM subsidiary Credence was informative, especially in regard to AI operations. The speaker's history of earning a Bachelor of Computer Science degree at UTM, with a focus on Data Engineering, demonstrated a disciplined approach to developing a career in analytics, beginning with her academic years and ending with her real-world experience.
My knowledge was improved further by the discussion, which highlighted its application in carefully studying data or statistics to identify trends, patterns, and insights. BI Developers, Data Scientists, Data Architects, Data Engineers, and Business Analysts are just a few of the several career paths in analytics that the presenters discussed. It was verified that every job is vital to using data for decision-making and requires a variety of interests in terms of technical fields, abilities, and preferences.
Additionally, the presentation covered OLAP and other software targeted to specific roles, as well as technologies like ClickHouse, Druid, and PostgreSQL that clarified the tools used for database management and the creation of analytical data reports.
All in all, the industry talk helped me better grasp analytics. It also laid the groundwork for upcoming investigations and education in the fields of artificial intelligence and data analytics.

In his presentation at Industry Talk 3, Dr. Seah Choon Sen provided insights into I-Farm and the market for development using in-house vertical farming technology. His doctorate in IT from UTHM gave him a strong academic basis that served as the foundation for his innovative ideas.
I was inspired by Dr. Seah's ability to use his IT knowledge to promote social welfare. The conversation has motivated me to think about the potential applications of technology in addressing global issues and offering significant answers.
These days, increasing productivity in other sectors requires technological innovation. In my opinion, technology is crucial in controlling the industry and serving the community as the population grew. This discussion gave me important insight into why I-Farm is a wonderful idea and how it benefits the community and vendors. While traditional agriculture may be beneficial in the short term, we must prepare for an increasing human population in the long run. I've had firsthand experience with how technological improvements can improve some parts of human existence thanks to I-Farm.
